Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid é o primeiro álbum de Collective Soul, banda de rock alternativo proveniente de Atlanta . Em um princípio o material foi lançado por Rising Storm Records, um pequeno selo discográfico indie de Atlanta. Este primeiro lançamento incluía uma canção adicional, uma balada titulada "Beautiful World", a qual não faria parte da versão de Atlantic Records. O álbum deu-lhe mais atenção à banda, o que fez que Atlantic Records os tivesse em conta para assinar com eles e relançar o álbum em 1994 baixo este selo.

O titulo do álbum prove da letra de uma canção de Paul Simon titulada "You Can Call Ma o" (1986).

Em tirajes posteriores da edição alemã a portada é diferente com uma flor bordada sobre uma tela de cor azul.

Os singelos difundidos foram "Shine", "Breathe" e "Wasting Time"; "Shine" foi o que conseguiu maior sucesso nos rankings, fazendo que Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid chegasse ao nº 15 no "Billboard 200".
