Philip Burnett Franklin Agee (19 de julho, 1935 – 7 de janeiro, 2008^[1] ) foi um agente da Agência Central de Inteligência (CIA) e escritor, melhor conhecido por ser o autor do livro de 1975, Inside the Company: CIA Diary,^[2] relantando suas experiências na CIA. Agee uniu-se à CIA em 1957, e durante a seguinte década esteve a escrever sobre Washington, D.C., Equador, Uruguai, e México. Após retirar da CIA em 1968, converteu-se em um opositor das práticas da CIA.^{[3] [4] [5]} Morreu em Cuba em janeiro do 2008 devido a uma úlcera mau operada.^[6]

Primeiros anos

Agee nasceu em Tacoma Park Flórida. Se graduó da Universidade de Notre Dá-me em 1956.^[7]
